27-28 Ağustos tarihlerinde Endonezya’nın Jakarta şehrinde “Business Transformation For Economic Advancement Toward Society 5.0 Era “ temasıyla” Universitas Negeri Jakarta” evsahipliğinde organize edilen “International Conference On Management ,Business and Accounting “ adlı etkinliğe katıldım.Davetli konuşmacılardan birisiydim.
Online olarak organize edilen etkinlikte işbirlikçi üniversiteler, Arel Üniversitesi ve Asia University idiler.
Arel Üniversitesi yöneticilerinden Prof.Dr.Ayşe Yiğit Şakar’ın dekanlığı döneminde ,Dekan Yardımcısı Doç.Dr.Aylin Erdoğdu’nun işbirliğiyle imzalanan protokol çerçevesinde Arel Üniversitesi de aktif rol aldı. Arel Üniversitesi sürekli tanıtıldı, tanıtım film sürekli izlenime sunuldu.
Açılış töreni heyecan vericiydi. Yerel kıyafetli biri bay, biri bayan olan iki sunucunun etkili takdimiyle başladı seremoni. Yerel dansçıların renkli-yerel kıyafetleri çok sempatikti. Başlangıç için oldukça motive ediciydi. Açılış törenindeki müzik sunumu ve dans sunumu ,ülkenin heyecanlı ,coşkulu ve kültürlü bir ülke olduğu imajını verdi.
Açılış şöleni açılış konuşmalarıyla devam etti. Kongre Başkanı Prof.Dedi Purwana çok güzel bir sunum gerçekleştirdi. Gelecek yıllardaki etkinliklerden ve işletmecilikle kalkınma ilişkisinden söz ederek bizlere teşekkür etti. Özlü ve mükemmel bir sunumdu.
Asia University adına Prof.Chun-Wei Remen Lin(Tayvan) konuştu ,üniversitesini tanıttı.
Ev sahibi Universitas Negeri Jakarta Rektörü Prof.Kamarudin universitini tanıtarak etkinliğe destek verenleri takdir etti.
Arel Üniversitesi Rektörü Prof.A.Ercan Gegez konunun öneminden söz ederek işbirliğinin gelecek yıllarda güçlendirilmesi gerektiğini vurguladı.
Sonrasında keynote speechler başladı.Konuşmacılar, bendeniz,Universitas Gadjah Mada ‘dan Prof.Nurul Indarti ,Ürdünden ,University of Jordan’dan Prof.Mamoon Allan ve Asia University’den Prof.Wing-Keung Wong olarak belirlenmişti.
İlk konuşmayı ben gerçekleştirdim. Başlığım “Leadership and Intellectual Leadership” şeklindeydi. Bundan böyle, kurumsal ,kentsel ,ülkesel ve uluslararası bazda yöneticilerin lider ,liderlerin de entelektül olmaları gerektiğini vurguladım. Ayrıca tüm katılımcıları şaşırtacak düzeyde liderlikle yöneticiliğin farklı olmadığını vurguladım. Yöneticiliğin liderliği içerdiğini ifade ettim ki bu bağlamda çok soru geldi.
Entelektüel liderlerin bireysel başarı kadar dezavantajlı grupların da sesi olduklarından söz ettim. Yoksullardan ,güçsüzlerden ,baskı görenlerden ,ötekileştirilenlerden ,göçe zorlananlardan ,muhalefette kalıp ezilenlerden yana olduklarını izah ettim.
Toplumsal muhalefeti ve dezavantajlıları temsil eden entelektüel sınıfın (akademisyenler,burjuva,hukukçular,edebiyatçılar,yazarlar,tarihçiler vb) iktidar olmaları gerektiğini ,yönetime her düzeyde gelmeleri gerektiğini ifade ettim. Entelektüel liderlerin IQ’ya sahip olmaları yanı sıra, EQ ve SQ’ya da sahip olmaları gerektiğini ve aslında olduklarını da ifade ettim. Aynen TKY’de olduğu gibi ,Toplam Yetkinlik Yönetimi(IQ+EQ+SQ) ‘nden söz ettim.
Entelektüel liderlerin otorite-rol gücünden ziyade bilgi ve kişilik güçleriyle insanları ,insan kaynaklarını etkilemeye çalıştıklarını ilave ettim.
Bir saati aşan konuşmamdan sonra deyim yerindeyse soru yağmuru geldi, teşekkürler geldi. Konuşmamın moderatörü sayın Prof.Mamoon Allan oturumu çok iyi yönetip güzel katkı verdi, teşekkürler kendisine…Sorulara zaman ölçüsünde yanıt verdim. Sorulardan bir tanesi şöyleydi: “Kamu entellektüelleri ile akademik entelektüeller arasında fark var mıdır?”…Toplantıda zaman olmadığından yanıt verememiştim .Şimdi yanıtlıyorum:”Aslında global düzeydeki toplumsal sorunlara (yoksulluk ,açlık ,adil olmayan gelir dağılımı ,göç trajedisi vb) akademik entellektüeller de ilgi duyarlarsa iki farklı entelektüelleri biraraya getirebiliriz”.
Kongreye 3 Üniversitenin rektörleri de anlamlı katkı verdiler. Kongre Başkanı Prof.Dedi Purwana, Prof.Hamidah, Prof.Dr.Arita Marini, Dr.Mutia Delina, Prof.Siti Nurjanah, Prof.Dr.Ayşe Yiğit Şakar, Doç .Dr.Aylin Erdoğdu öncü katkı verdiler. Kongrenin başından sonuna, bildiri kitabının yayınlanmasında –diğer süreçlerde Dr.Mutia Delina ve Doç.Aylin Erdoğdu bizlerle sürekli iletişim halindeydiler. Çok titizlikle çalıştılar. Tüm ekibe içtenlikle teşekkür ediyorum.
Universitas Negeri Jakarta disiplinli, iddialı ve çok başarılı bir üniversite imajı vermektedir. Yöneticilerini kutluyorum. Türkiye ile Endonezya arasında kültürel benzerlikler olduğu gibi; iki üniversite arasında da karakteristik benzerlikler vardır. İki üniversite de globalleşmek, uluslararasılaşmak istemektedir. Sürdürülebilir işbirliğiyle bu vizyona ulaşmak için birlikte çalışabilirler diye düşünmekteyim.
Son söz olarak önerim şudur:Tarım toplumundan ,sanayi toplumundan ,bilgi toplumundan sonraki süreç “Entelektüel Toplum” olmaktadır. Dolayısıyla bundan sonraki etkinliğin ana teması olarak şunu önermekteyim: ‘Entelektüel Toplum Süreçleri Işığında İşletme ,Yönetim ve Muhasebe Konusunda Uluslararası Konferans’…Yeni etkinliklerde görüşmek üzere…

I attended the “International Conference On Management, Business and Accounting” event organized by Universitas Negeri Jakarta with the theme of “Business Transformation For Economic Advancement Toward Society 5.0 Era” in Jakarta, Indonesia on 27-28 August. I was one of the invited key-note speakers.
The collaborative universities in the event, which was organized online, were Arel University and Asia University.
Arel University also took an active role in the Conference within the framework of the protocol signed during the deanship of Prof. Dr. Ayşe Yiğit Şakar, one of the directors of Arel University, and in cooperation with Assistant Dean Associate Prof. Dr. Aylin Erdoğdu. Arel University was constantly promoted, the promotional film was presented to the audience.
The opening ceremony was exciting. The ceremony started with the effective presentation of two presenters, one male and one female, dressed locally. The colorful-local clothes of the local dancers were very sympathetic. It was quite motivating to begin with. The music presentation and dance presentation at the opening ceremony gave the image of the country as an exciting, enthusiastic and cultured country.
The opening ceremony continued with the opening speeches. Congress President Prof.Dedi Purwana made a very nice presentation. He thanked us by talking about the events in the coming years and the relationship between business and development. It was a concise and excellent presentation.
Prof. Chun-Wei Remen Lin (Taiwan) spoke on behalf of Asia University and introduced his university.
The host Universitas Negeri Jakarta Rector Prof. Kamarudin appreciated those who supported the event and introduced his university.
Arel University Rector Prof.A.Ercan Gegez mentioned the importance of partnership and emphasized that cooperation should be strengthened in the coming years.
Afterwards, keynote speeches started. The speakers were me, Prof. Nurul Indarti from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Prof. Mamoon Allan from Jordan, University of Jordan and Prof. Wing-Keung Wong from Asia University.
I gave the first speech. My title was “Leadership and Intellectual Leadership”. From then on, I emphasized that managers should be leaders and leaders should be intellectuals on an institutional, urban, national and international basis. I also emphasized that there is no difference between leadership and management at a level that surprises all participants. I stated that management includes leadership, and many questions came up in this context.
I mentioned that intellectual leaders are the voice of disadvantaged groups as well as individual success. I explained that they are on the side of the poor, the powerless, the oppressed, the marginalized, those forced to migrate, those who are in opposition and oppressed.
I stated that the intellectual class (academics, bourgeois, lawyers, writers, historians, etc.) representing the social opposition and the disadvantaged should come to power at all levels. I also stated that intellectual leaders should, and in fact, have EQ and SQ as well as having IQ. Just like in TQM, I talked about Total Competence Management (IQ+EQ+SQ).
I added that intellectual leaders try to influence people, human resources with their knowledge and personality power rather than authority-role power.
After my speech for more than an hour, a rain of questions came, so to speak, thank you. The moderator of my speech, Prof. Mamoon Allan, moderated the session very well and contributed well, thanks to him… I answered the questions in time. One of the questions was: “Is there a difference between public intellectuals and academic intellectuals?”… I couldn’t answer because there was no time in the meeting. Now I am answering: “Actually, if academic intellectuals also respond to global social problems (poverty, hunger, unfair income distribution, immigration tragedy, etc.) we can bring two different intellectuals together”.
Rectors of 3 universities also contributed significantly to the congress. Congress President Prof.Dedi Purwana, Prof.Hamidah, Prof.Dr.Arita Marini, Dr.Mutia Delina, Prof.Siti Nurjanah, Prof.Dr.Ayşe Yiğit Şakar, Assoc.Dr.Aylin Erdoğdu made pioneering contributions. From the beginning to the end of the congress, during the publication of the proceedings book – in other processes, Dr. Mutia Delina and Assoc. Prof. Aylin Erdoğdu continuously communicated with us. They worked very meticulously. I sincerely thank the whole team.
Universitas Negeri Jakarta gives the image of a disciplined, assertive and very successful university. Congratulations to their managers. As there are cultural similarities between Turkey and Indonesia; There are also characteristic similarities between the two universities. Both universities want to go global and internationalize. I think they can work together to achieve this vision through sustainable cooperation.
As a final word, my suggestion is this: The process after the agrarian society, industrial society and information society is the “Intellectual Society”. Therefore, I suggest the following main theme for the next event: ‘International Conference on Business, Management and Accounting in the Light of Intellectual Society Processes’… See you at new events…
